The motivation
Sonny Marmon established The Marmon Foundation with a focus on making healthcare career pathways easier for young people to discover and navigate. He recognized that opportunity information is often scattered, inconsistent, or difficult to understand, and that better research and resources could help students make informed decisions.
The approach
Rather than building a large organization first, the Foundation began with research — building a working inventory of real healthcare opportunities, verifying eligibility requirements, and publishing findings with transparent status indicators. The mission, rather than any individual biography, remains at the center of this work.
